Career Center
The Career Center of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) was established on November 26, 2008, as a joint project of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the International Labour Organization. It is a structural unit that supports students in building successful careers and implements comprehensive initiatives aimed at enhancing their knowledge and practical skills.
Within the scope of its authority, the Career Center provides support for career development and employment regulation of students and graduates at all levels of higher education. The Center successfully carries out activities to help students apply theoretical knowledge into competencies, participate in paid internship programs, prepare for professional working life, and expand coordination with public and private sector institutions, entrepreneurs, and international companies in the real business world.
The main purpose of establishing the Career Center is to enhance young people’s knowledge, practical skills, and competencies, and to implement comprehensive organizational, technical, informational, consulting, educational, and awareness-raising measures aimed at solving employment-related challenges.
